Think of us as a badass personal training studio with a twist. The base on our mission is community, change and consistency. (We also enjoy some really, really sick beats). Taylor Sasser (founder) broke away from nearly a decade of large group fitness during the first round of quarantine in 2020 to create a safe haven for her clients during COVID-19. After months of virtual training sessions + hybrid classes (now deemed “The Sweat Sesh”) BASELINE graduated from the virtual world, to 'socially distant' personal training. We have since evolved to provide personal training services to over 200 clients. Taylor brings with her the high energy + comradery of those large class vibes to a much needed niche in the Charleston fitness community. Julie + Patrick joined the coaching team Summer of 2020 and have become a staple in the BASELINE family. We are currently operating out of a beautiful event venue called Union Station in Downtown Charleston (right next to The Daily). We will be operating daily business out of Union Station while we nail down our permanent BASELINE location on King St.
At BASELINE we believe that every workout should cater to an individual’s needs. We simply took the guesswork out of our routine by limiting class size and focusing on the individual. No two bodies are the same... so why should it be a ‘one workout fits all’ mentality? Quite frankly, IT SHOULDN’T. We offer 1:1 Personal Training + Small Group Training. Small Group Training sessions are made up of 2-4 people (you do not have to create your own group, you may book with friends, but otherwise we create the groups for you based on your session time). We have each station set in ‘pods’ of 4 in order to maintain a safe 6’ distance with your group members + other sessions happening simultaneously. This also lets us get all up in your business for that personal attention to detail . We take a physique style approach to our training methods. You will work specific body parts on specific days, based on your routine. No two sessions are the same, some will incorporate HIIT, circuit training + cardio, whereas some will incorporate more lifting, strength + resistance training. Each session is planned in advance based on the attendees of each small group. We ask that you sign up at least 12 hours ahead of time so that your trainer may plan accordingly. All 1:1 training sessions will be built out per individual.
